Alot of the details are made of plaster including medallions and crown moulding . A very labor intensive way to go about getting the finished product. You dont get craftsmanship like this anymore.

IT IS JUST SAD THAT YOU NEVER SEE SUCH GRAND STRUCTURES BUILT LIKE THIS ANYMORE. STADIUMS AND BALL FIELDS ARE ABOUT THE ONLY THING THAT IS BUILT "BIG" ANYMORE BUT EVEN THEY LACK THE FINE TOUCHES THAT MAKE UP THE DETAILS OF A BEAUTIFUL STRUCTURE.
