I remember those my grandfather used one in therapy when he had part of his foot amputated. Its name escapes me but it has somthing to do with helping the patient balance. If memory serves it was mounted on a cart and could be flipped up on its base and used to take some of the weight of of the injured limb allowing the patient to work on balancing.

Yeah thats betadine. I remember when I had a tick removed from my foot . The nurse that pulled it off used betadine as a disenfectant. It has a very memerable odor about it . Did it smell like anything Motts?

If this is for rehab and training then why on earth is the car pointing perpendicular to the yellow line on the street? Shouldn't the car be going in the same direction, whether driving or parked? I would think this may confuse some people (it's confusing ME HAHA!!)

Don't worry, Mr. Motts. Anyone could have thought this was a light, if they never used this before as a soap dispenser. I remember these from my old grammar school. It was a very old building. From time to time, one may see these in the basement bathrooms of old buildings. I do believe a saw another one of these old dispensers in an old stone building in Newport, RI. Great find!
