WOW! Beautiful shot. It also made me realize that the rusted bedsprings of the previous picture appear to be full- or queen-sized, whereas nearly every other bed, either decrepit or eerily made (such as this one), are single-size. Who in this place of unknown ghosts warranted a spacious, queen-sized bed in times past?

This room would have certainly been my choice for accommodations. The windows give a light and clarity to the corner space that would have certainly served to lighten spirits.

@Spydertap - I agree, it's like a lead-based snowfall the way it gently covers everything in an even blanket. You can almost hear it crunch quietly beneath your boots as you reverently peruse the halls of encroaching decay.

I'm just as in awe of this hall as you seem to be, Mr. Amazing... I mean, er... heheh... Mr. Motts.

I think that poor basin is beyond the help of either Comet, Scrubbing Bubbles OR Mr. Clean!

That being said, there sure are a lot of toppled sinks in this place!!

Wow... in all the decay and abandonment, there still sits, unmolested except by time and a layer of dust, one conveniently placed glass on the edge of the sink. OUTSTANDING.

And I totally want that medicine cabinet for my home.

Has to be a kind of algae. Otherwise, someone had awful taste in paint color. As a natural shade, it lends a beauty to the scene, though.

PERFECT title! Here's the "Exit" sign in the appropriate location, yet leading not to escape, only more dark mystery.

Is that an "Exit" sign located about 18 inches from the floor? What an odd place for it! I suppose it'd work great for anyone who was dejectedly shuffling, head-down and utterly depressed, hopeless and searching for a way out of the desolate halls of silent memories....

I love the broken window panes, on the *inside* of the building. That's just awesome.

I do see "Pig" although it could also be "Big" or just a coincidentally-located smear on my computer screen... ;-)

I think Motts could visit this place ten thousand times and always find some new, beautiful perspective to present us with. LOVE IT.

Could this be the mystery behind the straw throw around on the other floor? Looks like they used straw to pack these dishes in boxes to prevent breakage, as seen in the middle, to the left.
