Thanks for another great gallery Mr. Motts - the beauty of these old machines.
Wonderful!!
I'm wondering the same thing, flushed.
It even has the block heater cord sticking out on the right side.
eldokid - land yachts - so true - including the old Cadillacs that were huge!
Wow, a glimpse into history.
Look how simple the engine is and how little room it takes up - both compared to today's engines - not simple at all, and jammed under the hood taking up every 1/4 inch of room.
Fabulous photo Mr Motts, I love the colours - red, green, brown, grey etc.!
This must have run on either coal or wood, so did they pull a wagon behind laden with coal or wood, and then hitch on the farm implement they wanted to use that day?? Would make quite a long unit.
Thanks for your great captions, Mr Motts, and also for the research and sharing with us the old black and white original drawings.
What a fascinating subject for photos! and a great wonderful new gallery!!
I used to go to the Pines every year with the family for our annual ski trip.
