renee... there is something most odd about this place. when it was purchased in the early 1900's it was over 700 acres of land they have sold a significant amount of it but almost 400 acres still remain. its strange that they left alot of the medical supplies and food and materials in these buildings. its weirder that my friends and i were able to steal boxes and boxes of patients files that they never destroyed. which is illegal in so many ways... i have dead peoples social security numbers. i have hygiene checks and lists of materials patients entered the ward carrying on their person. i have certified mail and death letters. voided checks and letters going into detail about a dead patients $6,000 in their bankaccount is going straight to their kppc doctor because some thing "happened" idk if you see where i am going with this... there's something wrong about patients going in crazy but healthy and coming out with aids. but what weirds me out more than any of that is long island is the smallest part of new york right? well kppc one of the largest insane asylums in the us is here, pilgrim state psychiatric center open at the same time and so was central islip. ALL ON LONG ISLAND. OPEN AT THE SAME TIME AND ALL VERY CLOSE TO EACHOTHER. figure that one out. because i have been trying and trying for years and i still cant. email me if youre interested in what im saying laurawlnight@gmail.com

In my home town, there is a street with some of the most beautiful old homes on it, but the one that takes the cake for me has a large porch or what we would call today a 3 season room, with lots of these exact arched windows and they stopped at the bottom of the windows. It had ivy growing on it and it was white and facing south. I recreated it in a graphic design class. I even took the school bus that took that route so I could see it every day. When the dean asked me why I was taking the wrong bus, going down this street I said, "Because It is beautiful." He let me go on riding that bus. God Bless him. My eyes open wide with awe and beauty with some of your shots and squint with thought wonder and amusement when I see others. Yep, gulliver, and goats nearly always have twins. They are great farm animals. Smart, sweet (most of the time) and they mow without pulling up the grass. The White House used them with one of the Presidents at one time. I can't remember, but maybe Teddy Roosevelt? Anyone?

That goat looks like she's gonna have her twins any second. Maybe that's why she's at the hospital?

Motts, while you where there, did any fog or storms come up and engulf the place? On top of Trail Ridge Road in Rocky Mountain Natl. Park a storm ROSE from below and started pelting us with sleet/snow. What an unnatural experience.
