Motts, Nice to see you're back. I wanted to say that I did not see mention of the Red Cross or ECT and mass graves in this thread and only because torture using ECT happened to me elsewhere I would like to say IF it did happen it would not be the Red Cross who did it but an employee/s of the Red Cross.
That may seem like pointless quibbling but it is really everything to any victim, as people even myself would be loath to believe that the "Red Cross" would do anything like that, they would have no problem believing it about an individual person or group of people who worked for the RC.
The RC is after all the name of an organization not a living entity.

This is amazing, the artictecture is exquisite. I would love to see it restored to it's original brilliance. It's would be so depressing to lose such a historical gem. It would take a lot of money and time to restore it, I'm sure locals would feel very passionate about the restoration of this castle. It's like a dream it's just so elegant!

Of course it's 'the centre of ghostly activity' because it's the only remaining inanimate object. I'm sure if the carousel didn't exist but there was still a clock for example in place somewhere, the clock would move all on its own... Spooky.

It does appear more residential than institutional. It also seems a strange scale, high ceilings and doorways to give a sense of grandeur and make what appear to be tight almost claustrophobic rooms appear to be of a grander scale than they really are.

Appears to be an early safety lock device, prevented anyone from accidently operating the starting air valves when the mechanics were making repairs. Once the mechanics were finished, the engineer would remove this lock block and restart this massive beast
