What a shot! I love it! I hope that's not smoke from a fire in the background.

Reminds me of those things logs slide down, then float down the river., like in the old cartoons and movies.

I've been around table saws often. Nothing beats the smell of fresh sawdust!

Yeah, those sinks are cool. I wish they were more common. Think how many people can wash their hands at once, then get back to work or class all the sooner!

I really like this shot. This room reminds me of a prison room.

Nah it isn't too hard to find most of these places... although a bit of a time buffer isn't a bad thing for the more sensitive locations.

I wish I could post photos soon after I take them, but there are many other things that take priority for me; time is a precious commodity. In these years (2003-2010) I was in a very big hurry to see and capture as much as I could - there would be time to work on photos later.

I'm still glad I made that choice, since so many places are now gone.

Those blue things are actually the conveyor belt rollers that were once lined up the center. I'm guessing most of them were scrapped.

I'm not much on these industrial sets, but this picture has so much going on that I could stare at it for hours. Love it!

Thanks Christina O. You have restored my faith that there really are people out there that get it. I think that there is a high percentage of people that are victims of whisper down the lane . Somewhere someone relates an experience or observation and as the story gets retold it changes , sometimes just a bit other times drastically. Of course they are convinced of the validity of their story and refuse to believe anyone with true experience. Suddenly we are delusional and covering up the "real facts". It just gets frustrating after awhile.
