Beautiful!
Ahhhh those dormer windows - this is a great look - stately, yes, and quite handsome + noble, friendly, too.
Thank you Motts for this wonderful gallery with apricot rooms and toys.
Yes the sadness of it decaying away - agree - is despicable.
Thanks for the Wallpaper!
YES! Building looks like it is screaming in pain
Ohhh ohh oh Thanks Ravenna752. Yes, in this setting: weird is just the first word. Indeed - we will never know anything about it. We have to hand it to Motts for all intrigue we get. Keeps us busy, hahahahaha, Fun Every Day!
Picture FTW!
Methinks it is that brittle crisp delicate jingle.... ? Like ice. Ent-ice-ment?
Thin ice has a really nice sound also - always shatter ice on puddles.

Yes, they already have cut themselves. Balance there is, you know, N.

It appears to be some type of electrical horn, or siren.

Not a bad attempt at the Mucha "Painting" A lot of the details match. And check out the floral trim to the right on the narrow wall. Very cool. Too bad they are on walls.

The hospital buildings that I have worked in always have trouble keeping the standard square corners on walls undamaged. To many carts and beds pushed into them. The maintenance department started putting plastic guards over the most frequently damaged corners. A little bit wider hall way would have been better for the walls and corners. But it is all about revenue production.
i love the way the walls look. Great picture
POE in the bottom left..lol

Grumpy Ole artist I was thinking the same thing. Electric wiring and megaphone appearing on each side. Probably an in house fire alarm.

Mica it is an ornament as in Christmas. The bottom is a tray that a round ornament sits in and the rest is all see through plastic so you can see what you are buying. Looks wierd in this setting. Seems to modern for the style of the building.
More than cosy, back in the days - would say hot hot hot.
That is a HUGE fireplace. Size of room so fair and fine. Very nice picture.
