i love the colours and the shape of the mirror

i also like to take photographs in abandoned buildings where water seems like a mirror. for me, these kind of picture increases the feeling of neverending wiredness (i'm so sorry for my terrible english but i don't know if you'd understand more if i'd write in german...)

The way the rust is cast across the ground, it looks like the tricycle bled out on the spot. How sad.

The so called "extra cage" around the window, is for one reason only, so that the window can be opened and fresh air can come in. We only have 3 windows on our unit , that have barred windows that open and we all wish there were more. Especially the patients, so they can get fresh air into their rooms. Nothing smells worse than a room with someone that doesn't bathe, wets the bed and passes gas all night. Enough to make you gag.

these were used for CP patients and Polio patients, whose legs had become arthropathied by lack of use and muscle tone. This stretched the legs and spine so they would straighten out and not draw up from lack of use, i.e. going into permanent fetal position

I HATE THOSE PUSH BUTTON FLUSHERS, THEY ALWAYS LEAKED OUT WATER WHEN YOU PUSHED THEM! EEWW!!!

ANOTHER BEAUTIFUL AND VALUABLE THING THAT I COULD NEVER SAVE FROM ROTTING IN A PLACE LIKE THAT. GOSH I WISH I COULD GET THAT FAB PIANO.....
