surlygirl, i was gonna ask the same thing. They were probably water pipes. but i'm no expert.

this asylum was a decieving place. maybe the designer didn't know it was supposed to be an asylum, maybe a nice hospital or something.

some horror movie director will remake that hallway as a scene, probably in the next SAW movie. which are awesome, by the way

It doesn't look like part of the same building. It looks more like a dirty hallway in a regular home. not mega creepy like the other pics
