I can imagine how beautiful this would be restored, with the windows open and not boarded up. Is THIS part going to be saved? Wonderful green and red contrast. Motts, you--once again--take my breath away with your photography.

I am a worshipper of pine trees--and they contrast nicely with the building. I hope whatever they do manage to save here, they can save the stately trees as well. Motts, or anyone, is one of the reasons this place is rotting is because the roof is so flat here and there's no where for water to drain?

It's a wonderful shade of blue, seriously. It seems so bright and out of place here amidst the rest of the decay.

I think the curtains are what adds that "Homestyle" touch. If it wasn't for them, it would look like a cell on death row--albeit a luxury Suite due to its size.

I wouldn't go in there with an Uzi, a Rottweiler, or even you, Motts. It's just too damn creepy for me. It gives me the willies sitting here at my desk chair in my warm, brightly-lit living room.

Motts, you need to do an entire coffee table book on "lonely chair" shots. I love the gothic looking door and windows in the shadows. If it wasn't for the trash on the floor, the chair would be the only color in the shot. It's awesome as it stands though!

That is one morbidly creepy light fixture. Love the black and white...

Motts, was it a specific collage, or just a potpourri of different things? And could you even tell?
