Looks so much like a castle dungeon.

The articulate detail behind every portion of this building always stuns me again and again.

What exactly where these upper rooms used for? I can't imagine patients staying here, but storage hardly seems right with the windows and such?

In Canada it isn't much different. Evidently Whitby Psychiatric Hospital was supposed to be demolished (for those not in the know, it's the same place where Billy Talent filmed the video for their "Try Honesty" single), and an old sanatorium was supposed to be demolished in my area - Kamloops, B.C. - but luckily they're keeping it up. Not preserving it, but keeping it stable in the mean time.

Shamefully, Session 9 was what made me known to Danvers, but I've always had a liking to the histories behind old hospitals and the like. Motts just totally makes the visual appeal.

Nothing like making your comeback with Danvers. You're probably pro at sneaking into these places now, seeing as you never got caught at the "big joint". I so appreciate you doing this, though; it's like my mini tour without actually going in.

Kind of shocking at the "personal" aspect of it all. Makes me really wonder what kind of people "Chris" and "Tyrone" really were.
