This picture seriously disturbes me.

By the history of this hospital i sincerly doubt that it looked much different when it was open... :s

This picture creeps me to the core. What gets me the most is that alot of these pictures that you have taken haunt my dreams before i even found this site.

I like how the doors are half open and leads you to a hall beyond the dorrs. Very efective. A very good picture.

Yea lynne you may have alot of stories but i belive alot of them untrue. i belive that this picture has the same kind of meaning to the other refering to the washrooms. The "managment" as they call themselves semed to abuse the rights of their paitents

I have been to places where the stalls are open for everyone to see and the conditions of filth are far worse than this. That may be where my nightmares are originating from also.

Lynn you should also rember that other patients may also be walking past and i certainly hope that you wouldnt enjoy other people you hardly know but have to see everyday watching you bathe. Yes conditions have changed in most places but i know of quite afew places where the conditions are still as bad as described here. i also agree that some patients need to monitored more than others as i understand some may have the tendencies of hurting or killing thereselves but as mentiond in the introduction to the history of the place some paitents were misdiognosed.

I honestly don't see the tapeworm connection. but it adds effect.

I don't care what people say. I strongly think that there is more than one meaning to that "know thyself" in this particular location. Mabey some kind of double meaning is hidden there.

I agree it disturbes me.

if you look at the door close enough you can see the faint shadow of a face. chilling.

Honestly this door haunts me because i have had a nightmare about a door very similar to this.

I've been in there before. It scared the hell out of me. I also thought it felt very cold. Not something I want to experience again.
