For some reason this photo remines me of that robot I grew up watching as a kid. I think his name was Johnny 5. All the these wires and stuff look like a face.
Hey John, I bet these were used in the Baggage Subway. To my guess these baggage carts were made in the 1960s. For some reason when the building closed the baggage carts ended up the the parking garage. Each of the 7 platforms had a ramp that led to to the Baggage Subway so the Electric Baggage Handler can take luggage to the baggage car. I have a picture of an electric baggage handler that I found in the Railway Express building on the Terminal grounds. It was taken awhile back ago and I heard it was moved to a saftey garage in the building. The link to the photo I took of the baggage handler is on the bottom of this comment.
Thanks Motts for the great gallery. I've been on this site since January 2006 (I think). I have to say this site gets better and better. I have also seen your work get better and better. You are amazing and keep up the great work.
Wow Motts, looking at this picture of the office hallway remines me of the office hallways of the Buffalo Terminal. I'm gonna get if the same guys who designed this place designed the Buffalo Terminal.
Wow this is a great shot. Thanks for adding as a wallpaper Motts. Also a building that is on the National Register of Historic Places can't be torn down. That is the only reason why the Buffalo Terminal is saved, well and the 16 million dollar price tag to demolish it.
Man I hope this gets restored and used as an Amtrak track station again. The office tower can be used as railroad offices or businesses can rent a floor or a small section of the floor for there business. The building is sound but is just needs some cosmetics like new marbel, bricks, windows, etc.
Wow, I'm just speechless right now. This photo should be in an art museum or something. Man Motts you gotta publish a book on your work. I'll buy one if you make one.
I think the reason why it looks clean is because I heard there is a group of people trying to clean up the place and save it. Just like the good old Buffalo Terminal.
