@Sandy If real estate listings have taught me anything, it is if you can't see the price, then it is very expensive.
They really made this place look nice while keeping the prison motif alive. They even kept those little recessed locks

What an intresting locking system. I guess it never really caught on, as this seems like a highly odd way to lock a door.

I want to believe that those wall writings are from a prisoner (for historical reasons), but it could be scrawlings a previous explorer or vandal thought it up.

That wall is a hodepodge of materials. One one end it is brick but then it suddenly becomes tile before the tile is covered with plaster. This room really had a lot of renovations done to it.
