@Jim C Yeah Edison H.S. was something else... I got there kind of late and most of the stuff was tossed out the windows, but what an incredible school.

I imagine there are quite a few peculiarities in the construction of this place, as it's basically a house built around an existing hunting cabin, so the new construction had to be retrofitted in. The owner also changed plans around often while it was being built, and was known to have been a bit eccentric.

Yup; this photography can only be done in the daytime as you need the infrared spectrum of the sunlight to reflect off the surfaces. The light is much weaker than the visible spectrum, so the exposure times are long (10-30 seconds)... in fact, sometimes it's difficult to capture infrared images on cloudy days or shady conditions.

Yeah that floor is odd, it seems to transition from a checkerboard linoleum into strips of it; or perhaps with so many years of shuffling feet or constant water intrusion, it just melded together.
