The railing does look rather Deco, definitely post-war.

BKW, reducing the size of the pipes from large to small is a cheap way of building up pressure.

Strange to see the lower part of the wall is a dull grey as apposed to the usual pastel colour scheme of hospitals.

Almost looks like a stripped out old train.

I'd step over it because to me it looks like it's just a pile that's fallen from the roof, and not the floor beneath giving way.
