LMAO @ everyone! HEy CrimsonRain...that is the same reason I have become so addicted to this site too! I love these guys (and gals) like family, and Motts is just THE BEST at what he does...these old abandoned and unloved places come alive, if only for a second, and everytime you look at them, you see something NEW and EXCITING in them. :)

Motts...we love you man. You are more than the cat's meow...you are the whole cat AND catnip AND all the toys...

AND...I am gonna shut up now. :D

Oh, and *defiantly* I will put my fingers wherever I please, lololol!

LOL@ bobo!! Now THAT would be worthy of a Nobel Prize lol. :D

I swear my dryer eats them. :/

That dang greenish blob...still creepy.

~LG
LOL OMG eldokid...I thought you were much much younger lol. Maybe it is the "kid" in your name??

I bet you are a great person, and fun to be with. :D Hey...you already have an awesome "hobby"-looking at Motts pictures!!! :D THAT ALONE makes you awesome!

I wonder why on some of these galleries, the papers in them are almost disinigrating, and in other pictures, the paper looks like it was from yesterday? Strange days, indeed.....LOL!

~LG
@CrimsonRain Anytime. :D

Something keeps drawing my attention to this picture, but I can't put my finger on what is so fascinating about it.

It just reminds me of something....a dream...a memory?

Don't you HATE when that happens???

~LG
Yeah Eldokid, I don't expect an exact location, and that is fine with me, as I understand about the privacy thing and all. :) It's all good.

I just found out from DH that the huge coal breaker that was real close to where I live has been destroyed or taken down...but it is gone. :( We have railroad tracks though that are still in use and along them you can find old cars just sitting...and you can imagine them being pulled by a train that was perhaps also pulling cars of coal from the mines here. :)

Hey Motts...you were "in my neighborhood" (as in the same state lol) so I hope you enjoyed our lovely views! :)

Man...if you come close to Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, TELL ME! I would love to meet you!
~LG
Hmmm...enjoying the colors on this one. Red hues and bland grays. :)

Nice! Very eye-catching!

~LG
Yeah the good old days, huh? Remember having to get UP to change the channels and how electronic entertainment came in the form of Atari games (and later Nintendo and Super Nintendo)???

Pen and paper...how quaint lolololol!

~LG
What is that thing on the seat going up to the panel??

What a view whoever sat here had! I bet this was a stressful job...wow.

~LG
Look at those chains! The must've weighed a TON lloll.

Great gallery! I am loving this!!!

~LG
WHAT??? WHAT'D YOU SAY???

EHHH????

Heheee...yeah. Must've been deafening!!

Again, makes me think of a huuuuge watch. :)

~LG
Whoa...looks like a Giant's pocketwatch!!!

I can't imagine getting an arm caught in there...it would be say hello to ONE-ARM...yikes. :(

~LG
You need to get out more--you look a little pale lol. Heheee. (That is a jab at how you are always exploring places)...

Holy crow this is a big piece of machinery...You really can't tell how big things are until you put them in perspective. :)

Nice one Motts!!

~LG
YES! That is how our city looks in spots...very barren...and now they are cutting down trees in other places to make room for ????? (still haven't seen anything built on ANY of these sites) and it just takes from the natural beauty that we have. I live in the North side of the city (specifically Green Ridge) which is a big place and it is very nice with upper-income housing and middle class housing, and lots of trees and parks and schools. It is really pretty but all the strip mining, deep mining, and the other things that have gone on here, the landscape isn't the same. :(

~LG
Whoo that is a lot of machinery...I, too, would feel very small next to it. :)
