Was this a man-made skylight or a nature-made skylight?

I swear to God there is an office on my floor at work that looks pretty close to this! It's also close in appearance to how my last office (down the hall from my current one) looked until they scraped the paint off the walls and repainted the room. Ah yes, I feel right at home. :-)

That's just how all the top floors in the old buildings on our campus look.
