i'm really interested in the layers of paint on this door... it looks like there's something else under there. maybe it's just rust.

that's the way out?? sheesh!! the door might say exit on it but, it certainly doesn't scream santuary.

who hung the flowers?? it's interesting that even though the paint around them is chipping off, these flowers remain. they're serving their orginal purpose no doubt, to brighten up the space. it's like they're intent on that one task despite fate looming on the horizon. it's sort of sad.

i love that vine creeping in through the door on the floor. i'm looking at the proximity of the door frame in comparison to that first step and imagine that if you were in a hurry to get through that door you might just make that first step your last.

again with the creepy. i half expect at any moment a set of eyes to appear on the other side.

okay, "At All Times" is sort of ick. makes you wonder what kind of treatment goes on at all times. and secondly, what's the hole for?? a little primitive for a window don't you think??

heavens to mergatroid!! warped suits this building just fine. and yes it is VERY Burtonesque;)

when i saw this one the first thing that popped into my mind was an old woman. this building's got grey hair.

the backlightt doesn't detract from the beauty of the shot. the glow of the setting sun sets it in a sort of magesty. the title fits perfectly.

the stage is screaming, yawning or taking that last deep breath..... or maybe it's all three.

i loved the difused light coming through that window. it dresses this area in lovely shades and the glare you caught coming in off of the glass makes it looke like something is either coming or going out the window. the contrasts are yummy.

that is one foreboding entryway. thanks for the tour Mr. Motts. i love this stuff. it's both facinating and educational. this building or buildings, i should say; are beautiful in their decay. i am a new fan of yours and hope to see more of your perspective soon. thanks for sharing your eyes with me.
