I have walked these ruins during my visit to Heidelberg, but being 12 at the time did not realize their significance. Lovely pictures, and thanks for giving me some history behind this place I remember. I love abandoned places (thus how I found your site).

i know nothing about this place, execpt from what i just read in the comments here..is it safe to go in or will you fall through the floor? will you get busted by the cops or make it in and out without any worries? is it fucking awesome or something you'd never want to do again? do you need to have experience and knowledge of the place or can you just be some kid on an adventure? i'd really like to know since I and a couple friends of mine have been really wanting to go check it out

These kind of pics just depress me, to think that parents shipped their kids off to these places only so the kids would die sooner than they would at home. >.<
