My friend and I eyed up this old mansion while avoiding hellish interstate traffic coming from Philly one day... it looked charred, but still pretty fantastic. With the busy U.S. Pipe Foundry literally within 500 feet of the mansion and no overgrowth to use as cover, it wasn't an ideal ingress... so we chose to explore this place painfully early in the morning. Upon arriving, a thick blanket of fog rolling off the Delaware River seemed to help conceal us sprinting over fences and across lawns.
Once within the desolate courtyards of the building, we relaxed a bit and took in the quiet, misty morning surrounding us. The interior was in pretty bad shape and very empty, but it was still a neat place to poke around for a while.
