Chain Link

A view from the street and through the ugly chain link fence, showing what was left of the lab buildings, which were sealed up pretty tight.

The smasher itself was located in a separate building which both supported the apparatus and allowed the scientists to operate the machinery and conduct experiments at the base of the unit. The cosmetic discoloration on the brick facade is from peeling paint, and the structure seemed quite solid, despite claims otherwise...

The air tank, although a little rusty, still proudly displayed the Westinghouse logo.
