The Giant Light Bulb
While crashing at a friend's house in Pittsburgh, he offered to show us a pretty unique place he had discovered - an atom smasher! I thought he was joking until a cursory internet search revealed that there was, in fact, an actual particle accelerator from the 1930s, just sitting on top of a hill, abandoned for decades. Sign me up!
