Yeah - cramped is correct - poor servants; those ARE difficult stairs, and they only got a banister - no handrail. But they have a window: good.
Just C L E V E R! Two handrails, one on eah side +a window; they always did this, back in the days.
Good picture & the symmetry part is nice - but difficult to furnish methinks.

I'd love to have that view out my window ....definitely more appealing than my neighbors house! :-)

I have to agree - that would be so cool in a greenhouse or garden shed!

Good thinking Motts. Post 9/11, if you're taking pictures and notice that more than two random people looking at you in obvious suspicion, it's time to pack up and leave *at once*.

@ chris - nice one. Personally I'm too disturbed to come up with anything clever at the moment.

Oh dear...this image just gives you the sort of feeling that something horrible went wrong, which is why they put all these cribs in a locked room.

What a gorgeous shot of these buildings! It's sad to think that it's just going to waste...
Ahhhh those buildings are just so good-looking - can´t believe nobody wanted to live there. What a nice shot. Be well and stay in..............
Well, how scary this is; to find the lights on! And maybe even worse at night and in darkness. You are a brave man! May you always be well is my wish.

This is one disturbing image, even through you know what this is, your mind will still think the worst. Silent Hill, yes, this looks like what would be in that game.
I'd use that in a garden room potting tomato plants
