Neat story, thanks!
I used to live across the field from this complex while it was producing, 42 years ago. They used to offer tours and "samples". One day, sitting on the porch swing, my wife and I heard a crash. A train, pulling up to unload corn had backed up to the building, hit the wall and drove four freight cars into the structure. They stopped giving out samples after that.

I must've been enthralled by the castle and missed that little guy.

No it's the little building (not attached). When you are looking from the road it's off to the left near the street. Thanks!

I'm guessing that would be the octagon-shaped building immediately to the right of the distillery, if you were looking at it from the road?

Unfortunately I do not... it was connected to the main building by a little overpass, but it was all boarded up pretty tight, and for some reason, it seems to have evaded all of my exterior photos!

Do you have any picture of what I believe they called the gate house. The little building to the left of the distillery?

And how do you change the light bulbs if it's a chandelier?
Or three or four. Oh you did mean the alcohol and not the water.

And maybe have a drink or two.

It's easy to outrun the zombies in this place because they're drunk.
