Komea ja sekä lähi- että kaukokohteita hyvin esille tuova valokuva. :)

Back in 1994 I was aboard the Lettie G. Howard for her shakedown cruise and on the return leg we passed by the ruins at dusk. I was wishing I could go over and explore when suddenly a huge cloud of bats erupted into the evening sky. It was a pure High Gothic moment I'll never forget.

Absolutely love this..

Yes it surrounded the entire building; this chain link fencing was eventually replaced with a more permanent wrought iron fence.

Does the fence completely enclose the building? It's a spectacular contrast with Manhattan in the same frame

I don't understand why American architecture is so disposable. This building not even 150 years young, looks as though it has been through a war. Yet buildings thousands of years old still stand strong in many old world countries.

I visit here a couple of days ago , do not try to go over the fence. The police take their jobs seriously ! My friends and I were chased and caught for trespassing the site. The hospital is just amazing and beautiful.

I would imagine that you need to officially stay behind the new fence they put up around the structure. You might be able to contact someone over there and get closer access, who knows.
