50 years ago, we would write on notebooks for example, ' RP + BW ', meaning Roger Porter likes Beth Watson. That's what it looks like here, RP likes ... someone but the photo doesn't capture the entire carved message.

To the ...oh please.
What planet did you come from? I wasn't an adult, and yes there was multiple abuse going on behind those rooms and walls. What fucking scenery did we see? Nothing! What beauty did you see when children were left barely cloth, sandwich in a room with no furniture, crawling around on the floor, rocking back and forth, not knowing what the day will add to our nightmares. Had no teachings in basic learning skills, rotted away with no knowledge, making retardation worst (or a horrible misdiagnosis in my instance). Just because whites were fired and hired back doesn't mean that there was not any abuse going on! You all lie to any outside public questions, and the courts did not hold up justice for the onslaught of us innocence who had endured it !

This is where I was taken to get my mouth washed out with iodine because I mouth off to one of the white meanies. I was sick for days.

That's what was called the " dungeon ". That's what some "whites" said to me...., that's where your going to wind up at.

That's where I got my long hair wacked off by a nurse because she was infuriated mad at me for nothing! Mean white coats. I was restraint for I was fighting back. How you like your visions now of your stupid remarks?

It was for shock treatment, idiots! You outsiders have nooo idea at the terrors that went on inside these walls!

That is interesting to know... But these type contraptions tend to show in my dreams... Bathroom areas with dim lighting... To which I wake up and my bladder is full... So eerie these things...

Quite a classic that kind of got taken completely out of context for a wee bit there... But it was found in a nuthouse and seems to be insane prattle until you place it in its right context... Good one though all the same...

Interesting... Those circles are probably used for a poleball game, the one where the ball is on a rope which is secured to the top of the pole and whacked around. Can't think of the proper name of it... Still good snap though...

Wow... The Number and a Beauty Shop... Which is where those ladies defiantly claiming to be demonesses or flat-out succubi go for the latest hairstyles from the Land that Lies to the South of Heaven... Nice one indeed...

Looks scratched into the wood indeed, but a fork? Unless it was snuck in here, yes, but there is no establishing shot for the actual size of said scratches. But I am staying with fork. Looks also they were interrupted or caught... Interesting pic though...

I wonder if this was used for low-risk lunatics? Meaning of course those who were probably restrained but were less likely to bonk themselves into oblivion... Seems that way with the absence of padding... Gret shot nevertheless...

My uncle who was a tough ex-coal miner who worked as a "counselor" at Morganza during the mid-'50s when it was more of a state reform school. Part of his job was to administer punishment to the delinquent boys who misbehaved. Anyway, my uncle had told me that on Xmas day, he and the other "counselors" would unlock the doors to the boys and girls wards, then sit back and watch "the fun". Perhaps this was one reason for those baby cribs at Morganza.

Cool, yeah I love the look of some of the older medical equipment as well. Unfortunately they tore the place down about 10 years ago; I doubt they salvaged much, as that always seems to be the case.
