I'm sure studies have been conducted with responses to living in different colored surroundings, although I'm not familiar with them.

Most of the old psychiatric hospital bedrooms I have seen were painted with bright and vibrant yellows, greens, blues and reds; the newer facilities seem to be mostly off white and neutral tones. They are never dark or drab.

It reads, "In joy your summ", maybe a first attempt at the message below. Another message nearby read, "Happy Easter to all my friends".

Ya know, I took my dad to the VA hospital for an appointment on the 29th, (the hospital is quite old) and all I could think about is what this place would be like if it were abandonned, and how it would look through Mott's eyes if it were (the main entrance and lobby itself looks like a very old hotel) Autumn, I'm glad I'm not alone in the "mind corruption" :-)

It looks like someone was going to remove it. there is supposed to be a large (perhaps 6 foot) in diameter flywheel next to the large gear on the side. you place ink in the thing on the top. It's not in it's original location. The press operator stands on the side closest to the wall, and there isn't enough room.
