I am so addicted to Opacity!!
It does to me. Right in the middle of the city I live in, is this magnificent structure, an old brick Victorian mansion. It's in a state of decay now and part of the roof has been missing for a number of years so you can imagine it's condition. Collapsed floors, boarded up windows, this place has it all. And the best part is, it's up for sale. It's an Urbex's dream and has been in the back of my mind to buy this place. It's certainly affordable now, but the restoration costs would probably be aastronomical. If it were restored to it's original one family state, it could be a showplace. It's a nice dream but the other side of that is if someone buys this place and chops it up into apartments. Yuck
WOW talk about omens!
In this clothing store I worked at in the late 70's, the alteration department had all kinds of steamers and industrial strength irons that were even hooked up to constant water supplys like an automatic ice maker. Anyway, those freaking irons put out so much steam that in the winter time they didn't even have to heat that department, they let the irons do it!
Toot - My mom called it a mangle too, I think because every other sheet got mangled!
I'd live there with the zombies if I didn't have to pay rent!
Holy cow! My mother had one of these in our dining room when I was a kid and I remember her ironing sheets on it.
Pepto Pink. . . I think I'm going to be sick
Almost all the paint - gone. Was probably very bright nad sunny in it's day with that yellow color.
That would make a great apartment!
Someone took all the seats?
Rewinder, editor - could be both. But now the rust will win.
YEAH!!! MY FAVORITE!!
Funny that the ceiling is peeling but the walls aren't
It's hard to tell what it is -
