AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.....(runs to hide under the bed and peep out with only one eye open.........).... This is JUST like a bad dream I had last night, that actually WOKE me up out of a sound sleep, and made me turn on the light (8-0
Makes me think of all the people who went there every Sunday. That was their "everyday (week?) existence", and we'll never know them, and they'll never know us. Wonder where they are now, and what they're doing. Now expand that thought to all of the other buildings on this site (or on the planet) and all the people who spent their daily lives at work or living there (also include all the buildings that don't exist anymore, built and gone long before any of us was born), then try to think of the endless number of lives and the sheer Variety of situations and events in those lives, all completely different than every others. Then, just for kicks, expand that to try to imagine every life ever lived, from birth to death, that ever happened in the history of humanity......makes my brain hurt a little.
......"and so Pandora thought....'What the heck can it hurt?'......." and the rest is history.
This is just...lonely.
Beautiful.
"....Burn, baby BURN!...disco INFERNO!!!...."...OK, cheesy...I know, but hey, that's what it looks like. dim the lights, add a disco ball, and hey, you've got yourself a genuINE polyester palace! :-D...I'll wear my platforms with the goldfish in the heels!!! :-D
OK, Motts, not to be all smarmy, but I really did think of "Jewel" as the title for this BEFORE I scrolled the other inch down and saw it already there....lol. Love this contrast ('course, I like so many of these...;-))
Tunny: LOL...love that stuff :-). It looks like..."well, it would be too much trouble to actually MOVE the thing to paint the wall, so, what the heck, guys, just paint OVER it...."
Wow (and I can only say this becaused these are DRAWINGS, not pix of real people), those be some HUGLY (hideously ugly) creatures in that thar poster! Geez. Mr. Roseola there looks like he's sporting the latest in Speedo diaper fashion...and he DOES need a cigar....lol.
What a perfect space to build a little reading den :-)
..to breathe, I mean...sorry.
Dang, Motts! I really hope you had your mask on at this particular moment. Pigeon...ummm...stuff..., especially, is really bad {:-O...
Oh, now I am going to have to bulid something like that in my bathroom, or over my kitchen sink (not kidding). That little "touch" wouldn't be to difficult copy, and in room-matching colors, would look great. Love simple little stuff like this that breaks something out of the everyday ordinary. Thanks for the new gallery. LOVE the outside of this building, too.
MamaToFive: Yep! I SO wish I could see these places (like everyone else on here, right ? :-). Oh, and I'm going to "steal" your word, "nerdling"...love that..lol...:-)
Froggy! :-)
