Those of you that are having a fit about the writing on the walls would do well to look into the story behind it before spouting your mouths off. The story written on these walls directly ties to someone that was once a patient kept behind those walls. I think it is a wonderful tribute to her and the other lives ruined there. Would you rather see curse words tagged by vandals?

I have a current update about the hospital property for those that are not from the area. The most recent development agreement has fallen through. It was going to be luxury shopping, condos and a golf course. If there is not something in process by the end of the year, the property is going to have to be turned back over to the state.

I actually went into the Bennett about 2 years ago. I made it all the way to the top floor. We heard a lot of noises. I actually have a picture of something really strange looking back at me in the mirror. I have lots of pics. It's so sad because the building is amazing. I actually heard that they were going to demolish it, but they have to cover it because of all the chemicals. It's such a shame.. but I'll tell you first hand. It's definitely haunted. and I would never enter that place again!!!

Looks like one of those small, long windows they used to put in institutions to let a little light in. The flashlight has a yellow hue to it, but the other light has a blue tint, like light from the outside. Is that room full of water? What's with the black ooze?

Maybe the door would lock when it shut and someone didn't want to get locked in/out while they were alone.

Really nice contrast. The chair would look stunning against a B&W background.
